Im researching nitrogen trapping. A friend suggested it for Buster. Heres a brief on what this is... Nitrogen Trapping which diverts the waste products of protein metabolism from the bloodstream into the colon, thereby reducing the workload on the failing kidneys. This allows for optimal protein intake to maintain muscle mass, immune system, and glomerular filtration (filtering of fluids through the kidneys). This is what Im using right now for nitrogen trapping. Fermentable fiber sources can aid a dogs kidney function by using the colon to dispose of toxic compounds. This proprietary process, called the Nitrogen Trap ™, shifts excretion of nitrogen waste products from the urine to the feces, allowing the animal with renal problems to eat a higher protein diet with beneficial effects. Anyone heard of this? Ive been using the fermentable fiber for about a year.
