Im seeing more and more videos and posts about police brutality and cops are pigs and what a disgusting disgrace cops are and that amount of force is uncalled for. I call Bullshit!! It is easy as an outsider to make these statements. For the uninformed to pass judgment so quickly. For the uneducated to jump to conclusions, or for the dramatic to seek more drama in victimhood. Now dont get me wrong. I am aware there are some bad officers out there, looking to prove a point and pass on some beatings. Yes, this is true. And for that I am truly deeply sorry. Wouldnt you agree that for every bad officer there are THOUSANDS of officers who wake up daily with our safety in their hearts, who put their own lives on the line for total strangers, who stand between danger and us in order to keep us safe; those who work each day in the shittiest, darkest depths of human kind, the filth and disgust, and the ongoing disrespect. Those who wake and put a gun on their hip in order to keep us safe (I put on Nike shoes to keep you fit - they put on a gun to keep you safe). Remember, cops are PEOPLE. Just like you and I. They have families, children, fears, insecurities, hardships, joys and sadness. Cops are simply people who put on a Uniform each and every day. I firmly believe that our time would be better spent CELEBRATING the good officers. Those who go unnoticed by so many, and do so much to keep us all safe and protected. I say THANK YOU FOR GOING TO WORK FOR US TODAY!!! I am grateful to EVERY officer who willingly makes the choice to put him/herself in harms way in order to keep me safe. Blessings to you all.
