Im seeing two meanings of day here. Day- the opposite of night and Day-referenced to time. But what is day? You might be wondering why I am questioning this? But I am seeing day in Genesis not as 24Hours. Yes, I just couldnt see it that way. They might be against me, I just questioned what was taught to me during my elementary years. But this is what I see. 3 And God said, “Let there be light,” and there was light. 4 God saw that the light was good, and he separated the light from the darkness. 5 God called the light “day,” and the darkness he called “night.” And there was evening, and there was morning—the first day. My answer is really simple why it couldnt possibly be 24 hours based on the bible. Remember, when God created light the Earth does not exist yet and the bible said it is the first day. So how come it could be 24 hours? How come they taught us that God created light in 24 hours? The time in reference with God could be different from what we perceive in our universe. Let me also share to you my thoughts. The creation in the Bible the six days(not 144 hours) of creation are gathered on a single point. And so on the seventh day God rested and the Big Bang begun. And so the process of existence of things begun. Well, sorry about it. I could not hold my thoughts. I want to share what I know or understand. And in return you will question my ideas and the process of learning will go on and on.....(sigh)...
