Im sharing a status from a page that Ive been working on. This is a cause dear to my heart. Please take some time to read this and take some action. :) From Coltons Law The truth is, photos of Colton were taken way before July. They were offered to cps 3 different times. All three times cps informed the family to hang on to them. Cps told family that they had to locate Meagan first. Meagan was homeless and was very difficult to find because they had no idea which police department to go to. Colton died in the meantime. Our goal is to help create a safety net for kids like Colton. Whenever an abuse report is taken and CPS is unable to investigate or unable find a transient parent, then that case should automatically be bumped to STATE law enforcement. Department of Public Safety has jurisdiction in any county to investigate and find people. This is our goal! We are trying to gain acknowledgement from local politicians.
