Im so grateful for each day I have with my husband. For over 6 years weve spent every minute of every day together. He is the love of my life. Hes strong and courageous. He never complains about his constant pain. He never believed that taking narcotics for pain was a solution. Hes tired. The many doctors weve seen have determined - weve done all we can and our options are gone. We have faith in God. We believe in the teachings of Christ. We are not afraid. Mike says hes not your turn the other cheek kind, hes more of a Michael the Archangel sort. Thats my baby. Hes resting very well tonight in the hospital with the help of meds. We meet with hospice tomorrow. His girls are his treasures. They have each done whatever they could for us both. I am grateful beyond words. We will take care of him and love him through this. He has shown us how to be brave and strong.
