Im so proud of Kay! She is proof that when women are elected, they work hard to enact legislation that improves the lives of women and children. Oklahoma ranks 3rd in the country in women that are murdered by men, and while domestic violence is not solely a womens issue, it is SO important that we have leaders that are looking out for Oklahoma women. Ive been a broken record when it comes to electing more women. I have heard time and time again that we dont need to elect more women for the sake of electing women. I would argue with anyone any day that if we had more than 20 women out of 149 in our legislature, we would see more legislation like this passed and at least proposed. Im proud to work for Kay and also call her a friend. Way to go!
