Im so sick of people making a BIG deal about this new VH1 show #SororitySisters...and the main thing everybody keep yelling about is: Its going to give BGLOs a bad stereotypical outlook...but be honest, half the people that join these BGLOs join for the same stereotypical reasons these organizations are perceived as like: AKAs (PrettyGirls) Deltas (Divas), SGRhos (Sophisticated & Prissy) and Zetas (Finer Woman)...Anybody can lie they way into anything but it all shows from the time you get those letters on you, what your main motives were from the beginning...Some not in it for sisterhood/brotherhood, scholarships, community service...some in it for popularity, to developing a better image for themselves...not realizing that if you was a lame in college then, you STILL a lame just in nice letters with history behind them now...With that being said, IF and ONLY IF, your organization was carrying out your organizations vision and bringing in members who bonded on the same principles and interest as the organization then you shouldnt have to worry about ANYONE representing your organizations, no matter what providence or region they may be from. The areas and locations of the organization may change but the fundamental pupose, vision and mission should be the same...so my question is this...Are yall petitioning against the show because yall against what it stands for as a whole? Or because of that fact, you started valuing QUANTITY for running the yard, over QUALITY for leading the yard and now you scared of the representation you have to represent your organization to the world...My thing is this...When you TEACH or RAISE someone in the right way to know their worth, ability and stance within ANYTHING they take on in life, they tend to remember it, because its like a installed/programmed learned behavior as with any child...And I know hands down what type of women AI of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc from Savannah State breed and our ENTIRE TIGER FAM...needs to be in full support behind this show because we have NOTHING to worry about when we have a Woman of SOPHISTICATION & CLASS like Catherine Harper as a image #SignedMrGold👑 #SororitySisters #Dec15th #ISupport
