Im so tired of peoples horrendous shit being attributed to Christianity. It is not the teachings of Christ that these people are following, so stop assuming were all like that and stop blaming the religion for what is ultimately the base greed and avarice of humanity... Here are some ACTUAL teachings of Christ: ...whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me .... whatever you did not do for one of the least of these, you did not do for me. Matthew 25:40,45 (NIV). ...the greatest among you should be like the youngest, and the one who rules like the one who serves. Luke 22:26 (NIV). ...love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you... Matthew 5:44 (NIV). Are we all perfect? Absolutely not. Is it easy to follow these instructions? No. But THESE are Christs instructions, and hate, intolerance or manipulation are NOT. Never have been, never will be.
