Im sorry yall everything is ok....I havent been online much. Im here there and everywhere trying to make sure everything is done and making appointments, talking to doctors, insurance companies (which makes me sick), seeing about Hope and her progress at school, and then Tj has been sick. But we are staying above water! Just is super cold! Brrr! Hope everyone is staying warm! I know up north yall are getting lots of snow. Hope has already asked me 20 times today momma what if it snows? What it Im saying! Brody is doing good, he had his last dose of antibiotics this morning. Fingers crossed no more sinus infections. Or any other illnesses or infections for that matter. Trying to get him into more therapy now he is regaining some strength now. Get some new AFOs (Brody is doing some assisted standing with our help) and trying to figure out a hundred other things I need to for Brody. Chairs, wheelchairs a more supported one that he doesnt fall over from his no trunk control. His special needs stroller is great its by special tomato but he does need a more supported one for other times of the day. The problem with Brody is his spasticity so he moves constantly. And he works against you. Hard to explain but basically is he doesnt like to be tied down because he moves so much. Not sure if thats a good explaining it....so trying the right equipment can be difficult for Brody. And he gets easily agitated! He will scream and cry if he hurts or is uncomfortable in a position he doesnt want to be in. A little run down of Brodys diagnosis. He is 3 and will be 4 on May 1. He has PVL (basically meaning cysts on the brain) or white matter on the brain, grade 2 brain bleed, Spastic cerebral palsy, infantile spasms, focal seizures, myoclonic jerks, cortical blindness in both eyes, craniostynosis, doesnt talk, or walk or crawl but Bro tries very hard. Not sure if Im forgetting any other diagnosis (there is so many). And Brody has the most amazing angelic smile! And his laugh! Love! Hope bundled up good for school this morning! Like I said it was cold! In the teens and the windchill was 8. No snow just cold cold in Georgia. Hope is struggling a little bit with her ADD. Her genetic appointment coming up should tell us more as well. It could be apart of her Ehlers Danlos too possibly. Yall pray she can overcome her learning disabilities as well. Its very difficult for her but we are working very hard with her. But Hope is very bright! Me and Tj will do whatever it takes to help Hope & Brody in life. We will strive to be good parents. And love them always! Oh yeah some have asked if Hope and Brody are biological sister and brother and yes they are. We adopted Hope first. Hope is 6 and her birthday is July 6. She was left at the hospital at birth and we adopted her then adopted Brody right after he was born. There is sooo much detail thats why Im writing a book! And writing a post would take forever to explain. Well it has taken me over 2 hours to write this! I had to start and stop again many times. Thank you all for caring and loving our family.
