Im standing in the shop and all of a sudden I need to understand what bitterness means. I know that I hold bitterness towards people that have hurt me or people that just irritate me at times. Even my children can bush that button really close. But I realize that its only hurting me. So I looked up the meaning and read Ephesians 4:31. Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words,and slander as well as all types of evil behavior. Well I think Im not evil but this is a form of evil I realize. Bitterness means sharp like an arrow or disagreeable. Bitterness refers to a mental or emotional state that corrods or eats away at oneself. Know this doesnt have anything to do with anyone else but myself. Surly Im not the only person that deals with this surly there are people that get on my nerves for a moment or my jealousy comes out in a form of butteriness towards someone. I pray today that our God will rid me of this occasional bitterness that Creeps up on me so I can love the way God wants me too. In Christ name AMEN. I may share my personnel trials sometimes too much but the bible tells me Im suppose to because there are other bother and sisters in Christ that are dealing with the same trials.
