Im still listening to On Blast Show Episode 101, in regards to sending players to tournaments I feel this way: you cant help anyone who isnt helping themselves. If you arent bringing anything to the table and arent trying to produce any form of revenue of your own to help your own travels then who and what are you doing? If I spend $800 to get you to a tournament are you going to make $3200 guaranteed? I was so broke back in 2001 during my prime of my skill that I couldnt travel, there were no sponsors back then so I had to get off my ass and get two jobs, just to afford to travel. I found out I liked having my own money to buy shoes, get my haircut etc so it all worked out for me. Unless you are making that particular sponsor 4 times the money they spent sending you to ____ event, why should they send you there? Money talks, bullshit walks. Im not sure if I understand...
