Im such a sucker for fawm kauv!!! If youre a beginner, it may be time consuming but once you get the hang of it, steam rolls are super easy and fast to make! Ill list my ingredients below with my recipe! Yum!!!! Ive shared my recipe with many friends and family and they seem to love it too! Lmk how yours go 😃😉 INGREDIENTS: - Vinh Thuan brand ban cuon powder mix - beef paste - ground pork - green onion - garlic - salt - black pepper - garlic powder - water - oil THINGS NEEDED: - flat frying pan - mixing bowl - regular bowl - spoon - flat plate or foil paper on a flat surface - measuring cup •STEP 1: mince garlic & chop green onions •STEP 2: Add oil to your pan and start cooking your 1lb ground pork •STEP 3: Add mince garlic, salt, black pepper, & garlic powder to taste. •STEP 4: Once ground pork is almost ready add a spoon of beef paste and mix well with ground pork (this will add a burst of flavor to your fawm kauv) •STEP 5: Once ground pork is fully cooked add your chopped green onions and stir for 30 secs. (You can turn off the stove at this point) •STEP 6: Put your ready ground pork in a bowl. NOW onto how to mix the powder: •STEP 7: Grab a mixing bowl and cut one bag of the ban cuon mixing powder into the bowl. •STEP 8: Measure & add 4 1/2 cups of water into the bowl with the mix. •STEP 9: now mix very well until the thick powder is just liquid. •STEP 10: add a little bit of oil and salt into the mixing bowl. (Oil is to make sure liquid doesnt stick on pan when we steam it and salt is for taste/flavoring) •STEP 11: turn stove on medium-high and put flat frying pan on top to warm it up. •STEP 12: Pour a spoon full of the ban cuon mix into the hot pan and make sure it spreads evenly. •STEP 13: cover the pan with lid and let sit for 15-20secs •STEP 14: Take lid off and flip the ban cuon mix on a flat plate or foil paper (based on your preference) it should be a perfect circle shaped sheet of ban cuon mix. •STEP 15: take a spoon full of your ground pork and spread over your sheet of ban cuon mix. •STEP 16: Fold right side of the fawm kauv sheet in, do the same to the left side. •STEP 17: Now take the side closest to you and fold it over to almost meet up with the other end. •STEP 18: Roll the fawm kauv up and it is ready to eat!!!!!
