Im suffering #YogiSelfLove withdrawals so I made this little video. Its a blooper reel of some of the videos I took during the challenge - 80% of the time I was on my own, so I videoed myself with my phone and took screenshots to share with you. I did some seriously awesome stuff and it took a lot of hard work and effort to make it happen. I usually did my own 60minute practice and then attempted the shot, taking between 5-30 minutes depending on the pose. I wanted to share this with you because you only saw the outcome - it can look really easy and impressive, and thats not at all the message I want to convey. I want to show that its normal, natural and expected to fall over, get up and keep trying. I want you to know that a beginner mind and curiosity are essential to combating fear and the how the **** am I going to do a chin stand type thoughts. Each persons yoga practice is unique, and youll get so much out of yoga if you let your true self shine through - and hopefully you enjoy seeing some of my true self (quirks and all) in this short vid.
