Im super proud and honored to call the writer of this article my friend. Most expat women coming to this crazy but amazingly beautifully strange life in Saudi Arabia will relate to this article in some form or another. Not because we share the same past but because we all come to this place with similiar experiences. It is a truly difficult time at times but we choose to be here for the gift of life experience and travel that only a small handful of people will ever have the privilege to have, so for that I am terribly grateful. I am also forever grateful for the women I have connected with here in my own soul journey Ive been undertaking especially since becoming a mother AND doing it in a strangely foreign country away from whats familiar and family too.
