Im sure Im gonna catch a lot of flack about this but I dont care. I notice a lot of people ranting disapproval about the decision to allow Hobby Lobby to choose not to pay for birth control. So Im gonna say it; HURRAY FOR THIS DECISION!!! This is not just a decision about religion, although that is the importance for Hobby Lobby and I applaud them for standing up for what they believe at the risk of losing business. Over regulation of businesses is one reason EVERYTHING we use in this country is made in China and no longer in the USA. When the free trade agreement was made with China in 2001, we began to loose our factories, and income for a large population of this nation. Its the reason our middle class has become lower class, and the ones who were barely getting by are now on government assistance. Of course I agree that regulations need to be in place for pollution control, workplace safety etc. But when there is a chance to give businesses a break - we need to do it. Otherwise we can plan on continuing to spend billions and billions on public assistance annually. Not only that but we can count on continuing to be dependent on a communist nation (I dont care what they call it now, its still communist China) for everything. There is a bigger picture here that folks need to consider before they start spouting idealisms. And back to the original problem - The employees need to get off the band wagon of injustice, being victimized, stop whining about the employer that gives them a job with benefits OR they can choose not to work for Hobby Lobby OR they can get smart and go to the health department and get their birth control FOR FREE (no co-pay) and stop wasting huge amounts of tax payer money by debating the issue. Now... Im done.
