Im sure every body knows this song. THat said Id like to give my interpretation. Its a very long song it can bring relate and feel to a lot of points times and experiences in life for many people. But really the title of the song is the point of the song. Music has always influence everyone of us in 1 way or another. The title of the day the music died, to me represents the point in time in which something changed that is not till wisdom achieved is recognized. Ive always been a music lover, it was been part of my life. This analogy or view came to me tonight, while talking w my daughter at dinner. We, who doesnt love this Song? But WHAT came to light was the point in life that changed your direction. Not necessarily music, but a dream, goal, ambitions, and the loss and giving in to the desire of what you thought was what you were trying to right the chapter on. In the end, its about a point that you pin w a time that you chose a path in the rd. Only to realize later much later the influence that choice directed your life. So next time there is a cumbyyahs next to the fire life is great,rember that like the song like the fire burns out also, coals burn much longer and the dance of life simmers. Rights, wins, wrong, loss. Its a point of something ending and at a cost of what it is with to you Then regardless of knowing success or failure ..... dont leave me hanging here, any body agree or have an alternative suggestion. I know everyone has a opinion just as everyone has a, well if you dont have one than it probably doesnt matter any way.
