Im sure you have all heard that there was a vote this week in Lee County, FL to end state-mandated testing in schools. It passed with a 3-2 vote. However, one school board member, Mary Fischer, has had a change of heart and is requesting a new meeting for a new vote. Currently, the meeting is scheduled for Tuesday morning, September 2nd. Please email Ms. Fischer and strongly encourage her NOT to change her vote, but to continue to do what is right for the children in her district.
