Im thinking of making my own civilian nerd/job specific patched out ACU jacket. Im going to do my best to lay it out that anyone in the military will understand that I know where things go... but no mistake that I am clearly a civilian trying to be funny. For example, the branch tape will just say CIVILIAN The Chaplain badge over the name tape will just be a Bacardi Bat The tab is going to say ORDINARY GUY The combat patch is going to be most likely a Harvard University patch or a patch from a college I actually went to. The current unit patch will probably be a martini glass or some other kind of booze related thing. Combat Skill badges above the branch tape are going to things like crossed light sabers, a D&D emblem and/or some other booze related thing And the rank is probably going to be a question mark, or something from a sci-fi movie. Not sure what to do about the flag. Possibly a fictitious country or if I can find it, one that says MURIKA. No actual US military insignias, patches or badges will be used to make this atrocity. Now, I know a lot of you in my friends list have been in the military, served in combat, or are still in the military. If anyone here has a problem with me making a mock ACU jacket, vent your grievances here.
