Im tired of every nursing stereotype in the media that we are constantly battling: those stereotypes are-->> 1.) ditzy 2.) promiscuous doctor shoppers 3.) not doctors 4.) task doers/order followers 5.) just nurses 6.) not able to be on any reputable or national TV show (except ny med of course) unless we get naked/drunk/pop pills/or sleep with the pharmacist etc -yes Im referring to SCRUBBING IN and NURSE JACKIE 7.) saints 8.) angels 9.) warm bodies to fill healthcare jobs .... Etc. My mission is to provide a proper positive and professional portrayal of all nurses both in the media and within the public perspective. Nursing is an integral part of healthcare and life.. As are physicians, techs, ems, aides, clerks, housekeepers, and every other piece of the team that provides patient care every day. Ok, that it all. Thank you.
