Im told that the longer I farm the more things Ill see. For the most part the things that I see are beautiful and amazing. Today we had a first. We just had our first stillborn. Baby # 8 is a strong strapping (very handsome) buckling. His twin brother baby #9 was our first still born. Its a bit of a sad day here. I am so thankful first for my own beautiful healthy babies and thankful for His protection of them while growing and forming (in utero) and now for their health while growing into fine young people. I am thankful that this year has produced a bumper crop of fine healthy babies (one more delivery this month - and shes overdue too!) I am thankful for the life Ive been blessed with and many other things and Im thankful the mom is ok too. Shes had a bit of a rough winter and even though I was prepared for this as a possible outcome I am still deeply saddened by it.
