Im trying something new for Thanksgiving this year. Im cooking it on the Green Mountain Pellet grill using the recipe that came with it. I just put it on and now I let it cook at 185 for 8 hours, spritzing every hour with an apple juice worschestershire sauce mix. Then I will put the thermometer in and cook it at 275 until the inside temperature reaches 165. About 15 minutes. After all that I will keep it refrigerated until Thursday. Because of our wacky work schedule this week I wouldnt have time to do it Wednesday and Thursday. Wednesday when I get off work I will do the Cherry Coke Salad and deviled eggs. Thursday all I will have left is the smashed potatoes. Yumm yumm. I figure I will gain another 5 lbs over the holidays but Im going to give a concentrated effort on losing weight this next year.
