Im very happy and pleased to tell yall my son ,Mike, is going to ordained a Transitional Deacon in the American Catholic Church on December 28th. He will be ordained a priest sometime next year. He graduated from seminary about 18 months ago but has just recently felt the call to be ordained. In a way I know how St. Monica must have felt, although no one will ever accuse me of being a saint! I so wish Don and my parents could be here, they would be so happy. The did get to my oldest son, Pat, pin on his birds when he was promoted to Col. in the USAF. If I were Jewish, I would brag about my son the doctor, and my son the lawyer, but Im Christian, so please indulge me a little when a brag about my son the colonel and my son the priest. God has truly blessed me.
