Im very pissed so i dont care if peoole dont like what im going to post. I went to watch my daughter play today and she got less then 1minute of playing time. The reason why im so pissed is because in the beginning of the basketball season my daughter was failing a honors class according to UIL rules she was still eligiable to play..Coaches told her she wasnt eligiable to play but she was allowed to practice but no games..i said ok but she was not going to practice until she passed..she started passing and coaches told her she was still not eligiable to play and she was eligiable according to her principal..then over the christmas break coaches said they didnt have a way to contact her to inform her of practice..really she could hsve asked her teammates to contact her or even emailed me but nothing. She missed a game due to a science fair assignment but continued to go to practices..Tonight aftee the game my daugther said she was pulled out because she missed a play..Really? How do i put this as nice as possible the team it self and all players made alot and alot of mistakes..the girls are basically all at the same skill level nobody is better than anyone else. I asked Olivia why didnt you ask the coach to put you in..she explained they are not allowed to ask her that..Really? So you dont play all the girls, cant communicate practices but i could reach out to you on FB to contact me becsuse we were on break anD were confused about UIL rules and the girls are not allowed to ask to be put in..i think i have the right to be pissed and this was her first game she played due to all the miscommunication. And then she plays less than a minute.
