Im with Indian Navy Commodore Sudheer Parakala Commodore Parakala had a distinguished service of more than 31-years in the Indian Navy His last appointment in the service was the Head of Faculty, Resource Management, College of Defence Management, Secunderabad. Commissioned in the Indian Navy on 25th March 1970, Commodore Parakala holds Maters degree (Def Studies) from Madras University and Masters in Management Sciences (MMS) from Osmania University. He held many prestigious appointments - afloat and ashore. Important ashore appointments include Training Officer of INS Hamla, Command Supply Officer HQ SNC, Deputy Naval Attaché Moscow, Directing Staff CDM Secunderabad, Joint Director Naval Plans NHQ, Principal Director Procurement NHQ and Chief Staff Officer- Logistics, Administration and Personnel, Eastern Naval Command, Vishakhapatnam. Commodore Parakala took pre-mature retirement from the Indian Navy & joined a GIS company - IIC Technologies as the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President in May 2001 till Oct 2006. From Oct 2006 to end July 2007, he was the Country Manager (Chief General Manager) of Navionics, an Italian company who are the World Leaders in Electronic Charting for the Leisure Industry both in the Marine and Outdoor Navigation Systems. ...
