Im working on my first ever stand up act which is very challenging for many reason. Having to censor myself is making the process difficult, but it just means I have to be wittier and even funnier than when I can rely on multiple four-letter words and stories about the horrible things Ive said and done in the past. Joan Rivers, my comedy icon, passing has also put a damper on things, because Im having a hard time finding references...we all know I cant go toward Lisa Lampanelli because well I cant talk about b**** c*** the whole time ;) Trying to be a better person is great, but I think I was much funnier before -- guess Im just going to have to work a little harder ;)
