Im worn out. Had a dentists appointment today at 2:45 and got a temporary fixed bridge installed -- it took two-and-a-half hours. I go back Oct 2nd to get the real thing put in. Chewed up a jelly biscuit tonight -- I mean CHEWED it like I used to do. I didnt expect it, but it tasted TWICE as good as usual. Mastication is a good thing. Plumber came and after snaking our sewer line declared that the real problem was in the city line. Kathy called the city and they came and said it was fixed. And, so far, all is well. Hoping to get reimbursed for both plumber visits -- and thats no chump change. Enjoyed 2nd installment of Ken Burns The Roosevelts on PBS. Ive read three biographies of Teddy Roosevelt and came away each time with mixed feelings. Same with this documentary. Looking forward to FDRs story -- dont know THAT much about him.
