Im writing, working, and taking care of one person (myself) and always feel overworked and overstressed. I often, too, feel under-supported or valued, especially around my deadlines, or specific hormonal times. I wonder how they do it, and if I will ever be up to such a responsibility. To give constant care, stay positive, work inside and outside the house, know what to say, and when. During my fieldwork, I interviewed 80 married women from lower class Beirut long enough to know that each one of them is a symbol of strength and power. I also met countless Syrian women during my work with Sawa that showed me revolutions in everyday life, showed me sacrifice in an exceptionally difficult time. Phrases like you are the best mom ever are not cheesy as some pessimists over-critical people claim. They are very precise and true; every mother- given her circumstances, children, character, obstacles, stress- is the best mother there can be for *her* family. God bless every mother, for every mother is the best mother ever. Hugs and love to all but especially to mothers who personally inspire me-
