Imagine a single Mom barely getting by—busy with her children—hearing a knock on her door. She opens the door to find a kind person with a big smile—there to deliver a generous gift basket of goodies. Who’s that sweet smiling person delivering the gift? That’s where you come in. Next Saturday morning (Dec. 20th)—we will be partnering with our friends at Dream Center of East County to deliver gift baskets to three El Cajon neighborhoods. But wait—it gets better. Imagine her children—each receiving a Christmas gift the following morning at church. I love it! It’s called Adopt A Block. It’s all happening next Saturday at 9:30am. We need men and women to deliver the gift baskets and others to purchase and prepare the gift baskets for the Moms and Christmas gifts for the children.
