Imagine for Brianna with Harry It was a chilly late November morning, your husband Harry was still in bed sleeping. He was up late last night doing who knows what, you didn’t bother asking when he came into the bedroom last night. You were sitting in the living room, drinking some warm tea as your beautiful baby girl played on the floor with her toys. Darcy was only about 1 and a half, and she was still learning how to talk she was a bit slow but she loves to talk. “Baby girl, please don’t eat that.” You said as you take away a pencil she was trying to eat. “Where are my two favorite girls?” Harry’s voice came from the hallway and in walked Harry wearing pajama pants and a T-Shirt. He leaned down and pecked your lips than went and picked up Darcy. She smiled and kept drumming on his face, you smiled watching him hold her. Harry was such a good dad and such an amazing husband. “Liam said he wants to babysit tonight with Danielle so we can have a night out.” You look at him. “Liam? Babysit? Ha, he is so funny.” Harry kissed Darcy’s cheek. “Babe he’ll have Danielle with him and she’s good with Darcy! Plus do you remember the last time that we’ve had a night to ourselves?” You raise an eye brow, waiting for his reply. “Fine… When was he thinking?” Harry asked. “He said around 7 or 8 but we have all day until then.” You smile. Harry set Darcy down and sat with you, his arms tucked around you and left a long wet kiss on your cheek. You smiled and pushed his face away as he laughed and tried to kiss you again. “Nooo!” You shout, he starts tickling you in your torso and you start to squirm around. “Harry!” You yell. He stopped and smiled, kissing you softly but it was interrupted by Darcy laughing. You two looked over to see her playing with one of her music toys, laughing as she kept hitting it. It was a family day, Harry spent a lot of time playing on the floor with Harry while you cooked lunch for everyone. You didn’t eat much because you were distracted with feeding Darcy as she made a big mess. Harry laid her down for her afternoon nap and called Liam, setting it on speaker. “Hello?” Liam said. “I heard you want to babysit Darcy tonight.” Harry spoke. “Yeah, I mean you and Brianna have your anniversary coming up, Danielle has been asking for me to ask to babysit because she likes it.” Liam responded. “It’s like you two play house with my daughter.” Harry chuckled. “I never looked at it that way but now that you said something, it is… But come on even Brianna said she can’t remember the last time you ever had alone time since Darcy has been born. That was like a year and a half ago. Go enjoy your night out, Danielle and I will come over, we’ll play with her and we’ll feed her, put her to bed and everything will be fine.” Liam explained. “Okay, be here at 7.” Harry said before hanging up. “Give him a break Harry, you see him with Darcy, he would be a good dad too. He’s just as protective of her as you are.” You climb into his lap, smiling. “No, I am much more protective. I’m her daddy.” Harry stated. You smiled, you thought it was adorable when it was mentioned that someone might care about Darcy was much as him or love Darcy as much as he does, he always gets jealous and declines it. Saying he’s her dad, he loves her and cares about her 10 times more. Except when it came to family, the lads are like family which is why you don’t understand it but you thought it was cute. It showed how much he loves her and loves you. Around 7 there was a knock on the door, you opened it and greeted Liam and Danielle with hugs. Harry came from the bedroom and pulled them into hugs too. “Where’s baby?” Danielle smiled. “Playing in the living room, but hold on before you go in there because Harry would like to go over his list of expectations.” You smile. Harry picked up a piece of paper off the kitchen counter and began reading, “She ate a little snack after she woke up at 3, so if you could feed her something for dinner that would be appreciated. Something soft because she’s teething and hasn’t been eating hard things lately. Give her an 8 ounce bottle of formula before she goes to bed. Usually she’ll hold the bottle but sometimes she’s like me and gets lazy so you might have to hold it for her. When you put her to bed make sure her night light is on and she likes the little projector that goes on the ceiling. But not too loud because it will keep her up. Make sure you turn her humidifier on before you put her to bed. Oh and she has to be in bed by 9 ,no later.” Harry listed. “We’ll make sure we do everything on the list Harry, don’t worry.” Danielle assured him. You could tell Harry was a bit nervous because in the past year and a half since you’ve had Darcy, you or Harry have never left her. If you went out, you took her with you, if Harry went out he took her with him, she was always with one of you. Liam and Danielle have spent time with her at a holiday parties, where you and Harry were busy entertaining. Danielle was always all over Darcy at the parties which is why you accepted the offer when Liam asked earlier. “Oh and Liam there is a list of numbers on the fridge, there’s her pediatrician, the number to the pediatric department in the hospital, my mom, Brianna’s mom, Gemma, everyone is on there.” Harry stated. “Okay Harry! Everything will be perfectly fine.” Liam said. “You two, go have a nice dinner together and don’t worry about a thing.” Danielle rushed the two of you out the door. Honestly, you weren’t that nervous leaving Darcy with Danielle and Liam. You’ve seen them with Darcy and they are great with her. Darcy loves them, Harry being the over protective one that he is was completely freaking out about the idea. You tried to calm him throughout the night and it worked for a little until he would ask every 20 minutes if you thought everything was okay. When you did get back after dinner. Darcy was sound asleep in her bed, Liam and Danielle were snuggled up, watching movies on the couch in the living room. “How was it?” Danielle asked when she saw you. “Good, except I kept hearing every 20 minutes, ‘Should I call?’ or ‘Do you think everything is okay?’ he worries too much.” You smile. “He’s such a good daddy, she fell asleep with no problem. We did everything on the checklist.” Danielle reassured. “Oh I wasn’t worried about you doing everything if you forgot something’s than that was okay. As long as she ate, had a bottle and is asleep you did the job right.” You laugh. “Where is Harry anyway?” Asked Liam. “I am sure that he’s checking on her.” You respond. A minute or two later Harry came in and sat in a chair. “She’s asleep.” He stated. He stared down Liam and Danielle. “How did we do?” Liam looked at Harry. “You passed.” Harry nodded. “Does this mean we can babysit more often?” Danielle lit up. “Yes.” You responded before Harry could. “I have to admit you did well, I will call you when we need you or when we want a night out.” Harry smiled. We said goodbye to Liam and Danielle before shutting down the living room and getting ready for bed. Harry laid in bed as you took off your make up. You climbed into bed while he was watching TV and cuddled up to him. “Did you have fun tonight?” You ask. “I did, it wasn’t as bad as I thought.” Harry nodded. “I’m proud of you.” You smile. “Why thank you.” He said. You kissed him goodnight than rolled over on your side, he shut the TV off than slithered his arms around your waist. Holding you as both of you fell asleep.
