Imagine for Diana (sorry its late) : You and Niall have been best friends since 6th grade. Little did you know, hes had a crush on you since 7th, while youve been with your now abusive boyfriend Jake since 8th grade (4 years now since youre a senior). But, for the past year, as youve been hanging out with Niall more and more, youve been developing feelings for your best friend. Hes nice. Adorable. Shy. Perfect. And that laugh.. It makes you melt. Same with his smile. You realized what you gotta do now. Hey babe...we gotta talk. You text Jake. Yep. No going back. Okay, hurry Im about to go to math. He replies. Here it goes. I think we should break up... You hit send. Yep. Im gonna regret this, you think. What?! Youre gonna get it later you s***! Youre heart stopped. Your eyes suddenly became watery. The bell rang. You ran. You ran to find Niall, luckily he gives you rides home. You found him getting into his car. You jumped in the passenger seat and started balling. Diana! Whats wrong?! Niall asked panicking. You take out your phone and show him the messages. Your phone kept ringing. It was jake sending you messages. Where are you little h**? Im gonna hurt you. Ill hunt you down if I have too. Niall seemed mad and upset, you guys drove in silence, besides the sound if your crying. Im waiting for you at your house. Go to your house Niall. Wh- Just go. You say. You text your mom, she knows all about jake. Mom, Im gonna be at nialls for a while. Possibly spending the night there, ill call later and explain. Love you. Niall pulls up to his driveway, since its Friday you can do your homework tomorrow so you just throw your bag on the floor and hit the couch and cry. Im so sorry Diana. I wont let him hurt you I promise. Niall says, hugging you. Butterflies erupt in your stomach. Thanks Niall. Listen.. I know now isnt the time but I li- no I love you. Ever since 7th grade. And youve never liked jake, you only liked him because he was the captain of the football team and it was good for both of us, but now that thats over with, will you be my girlfriend? He asks. Finally. Its true you never liked jake, at one point you did. In 8th grade. The only reason why youre crying now is because youre scared jake will hurt you. Yes. You say. He hugs you, and you guys end up sleeping on the couch, cuddling and Niall singing into your ear. Hope you liked it!
