Imagine waking up every morning to go to work to provide for your family. Before you leave the house, you strap on a bullet proof vest and a gun and a badge. You pray that God will return you safely home without having to use your protective gear or weapon. Your family prays the same thing for you. You go to work to uphold the law and to provide safety for complete strangers. Imagine that stress and pressure. Imagine that it is your job to knowingly go into dangerous situations that could end in your death, just to keep others out of harms way. Now, if you can, think of how you would handle an angry or scared person that raises a weapon or a fist to you or to others in an attempt to cause injury. That angry person could very well be the reason that you dont make it home. How much force is necessary to keep everyone safe and be able to go home to your family? I cant answer that, and I dont think anyone else can either. All you can do is pray for God to keep you safe and guide you and your actions. God bless the men and women that risk their lives everyday so that we can be safe! Thank you!
