Imagine you were an artist; a painter, a sculptor and your greatest work of art is a self-portrait or self-image. You view this piece of art as you’re your crown jewel and want to make it absolutely perfect, an exact replication of your own being. However, after you feel that the artwork is perfect the paint starts to run a bit or the clay becomes soft in some spots. The perfect replica becomes imperfect, broken, not what the artist intended. If you are that artist, what do you do? Scrap the entire work and start over or continue to painstakingly touch up, add to, take away from, prune and restore over and over again? I thank God for being the artist that doesn’t give up on his grandest piece of work. He is the artist that continues to fix the broken, wipes away the imperfection, and continues to do it with a joyful heart and unwavering faith in his creation.
