Imitating Paul The eighth and ninth of the Ten Commandments forbid lying and stealing. Do you ever ask sinners if they have lied or stolen? Paul used the Commandments in Romans chapter two, and he told us to imitate him. When we do that, it shows sinners that they have fallen short of Gods standard. The Moral Law reveals that we have sinned against a God who sees every deed and word, and will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing. The Law of God brings the knowledge of sin. It calls for our blood, and demands our death and damnation. When a sinful world understands that, they are ready for the Good News that Christ redeemed us from the curse of the Law, being made a curse for us. The Law makes the cross make sense. Thats why Jesus used it. Thats why Paul used it. Do the same. There goes another minute. Gone forever. Go share your faith while you still have time. Way of the Master
