Impaired charges laid following accidents: Two area residents faces impaired driving charges following accidents on Tuesday. The first incident was shortly after midnight, when a two-vehicle collision occurred on Britannia Road between Regional Road 25 and Thompson Road. The driver of one vehicle — 40-year-old Michael Choi of Milton — was charged with impaired driving and refusing to provide a breathalyzer sample. At 9 p.m. a vehicle was seen pulling into the Petro Canada station at Steeles Avenue and RR25 and colliding with a post. Police stopped and subsequently arrested a woman on RR25 headed to Acton a short time later. Charged with impaired driving and over 80 is April Shaddock, 51, of Rockwood.
