Important Information: The Federal Government Partial Shutdown and your WIC services: As of midnight October 1st, the federal government has shutdown. However, the Connecticut WIC Program is able to continue to provide services to participants for the time being by using current available funds. The state WIC Program will continue to monitor and assess the situation and provide updates as needed. What should WIC Participants know? 1. Keep your WIC appointments 2. Redeem your WIC vouchers at stores, as usual 3. Watch for updates on the WIC website: ct.gov/dph/wic 4.
