Suspect man at TCFC under 11’s match versus Foxhall at Fisher’s Fields 16/11/14 I first became aware of the man midway through the second half of the game when I walked up the touchline to talk to Jon. The man concerned was behind me at the time kicking a football with and talking to two young boys, at this time I presumed he was the grandfather of the children and thought nothing of it. At the final whistle I was on the touchline with the team gathered around to discuss the match when the man approached me asking what team we were. I politely asked to him go away without telling him anything about the team. At this time, my son told me he had some mud in his eye as I was examining this, the man once again approached and asked if he was alright. I again told him to go away. He then proceeded to try and stroke my son’s head saying “Hasn’t he got a lovely head of hair”. Fortunately I had my hands on my son’s face whilst trying to look into his eye and saw the man’s hand out of the corner of my eye reaching out to stroke his head. I instinctively rammed my forearm up into the old man’s arm and told them that I had already told him twice so he better leave now before I did something he would regret which thankfully he did. I later found out from my wife that he had been on the parents’ side of the pitch for the majority of the match and had been trying to talk to all the parents and children over there. She informed me that he had been leaning over the back of the chair one of the children was sat on trying to see what she was doing and in doing so had to lean into another child stood next to her placed his hand upon the boys back. Description: Around 5’ 7” tall, thin build, mid 70’s to early 80’s in age, with grey/silver hair. He was wearing grey pants and a greyish ¾ length mac. Unfortunately he was your typical generic old man nothing to really distinguish him, so can’t provide much more information than that about him, I’m afraid.
