#ImprovSpotlight: TOMMY DAVIDSON Tommy Davidson began his stand up comedy career in the mid-1980s in the Washington DC metropolitan area including Baltimore & Philadelphia. Tommy first gained national exposure after being cast on the variety show “In Living Color”, where he was known for his impressions of Sammy Davis, Jr. & SUGAR RAY LEONARD, as well as memorable character in the infamous Homey D. Clown sketch. Tommy gained further attention with his 1991 breakout special “Illin in Philly”, which aired on Comedy Central. Tommy eventually transitioned into acting & appeared in hit comedy films including “Ace Ventura: Pet Detective”, “Strictly Business”, “Booty Call” & “Juwanna Mann”. Tommy continues to tour the country bringing his hilarious standup to Improvs around the nation.
