Info on BANNERS and SHIRTS!! BANNERS!!! afwm.org/pre-grad/banners-signs/ I encourage folks to make the banners generic, i.e. WE ARE PROUD OF YOU! type thing so you can use them again and again. Once you get your banners made, have a pizza banner signing party and have everyone sign their well wishes on the banner! And dont think you have to purchase a banner as the homemade ones are super special! I didnt even have a banner when I went and that of course is an option too. Im being totally serious - your new Airman will NOT care what shirt you are wearing! So please dont stress about the color etc. In fact, you dont even have to purchase one...I didnt and my Airman didnt say a thing about that. You could wear a brown paper sack and your Airman would just be thrilled that you are there.
