In 1900, inside a shipwreck from aprox 87BC, there was found something unexplainable. A shoebox-sized, rock-like object. But inside there was (as seen with x-ray) a complicated mechanism with over 30 different gears. The level of engineering in the mechanism itself was not seen again before in the 17th century,in watches. The purpose of this particular object is not known for sure,but the most accepted theory is that it kept track of days and years. And the zodiacs,and many of the visual objects in the sky. And the eclipses. With the posibility to simulate the cycles of all these simultanously, 72 years ahead, as and adjustable calender. Mind blowing!
