In 1954 a law was enacted in the IRS code under 501 (c)(3) which prohibited churches and pastors from speaking the truth regarding issues in politics and society. The penalty for doing so in anything but vague and non-specific terms was to lose the tax exempt status as well as the ability for contributors to deduct said donations on their tax returns. This sneaky regulation effectively shut down the first amendment. Thus taking the teeth out of the truth that is spoken by watering it down with the urine of political correctness. The truth that for so many years brought refreshing, now is a flow of sewer run off unfit for consumption because of this compromise. The church in America has sold out for the love of money. We need to tell the IRS what they can do with their regulation and get back to forcefully telling the unvarnished truth. The world desperately needs us to have the courage to do so.
