In 1964,we live in a part of Winner,South Dakota.On the northwest corner of the town next to the railroad tracks,it was the tar paper shanty town,out houses and common pump to get our water,no electricity,kerosene lamps.The natives who lived there called it,The Great Northwest.Sometimes in the bitter winter,we would wake up in the morning with the water had frozen in the water bucket.Sometimes we ate only one meal a day,and the depresser man,always make life hard for us.
