In 1965 Medicare was demonized by the Right and the medical - TopicsExpress

In 1965 Medicare was demonized by the Right and the medical establishment as "socialized medicine". The medical community has advanced and now (except for a few rich TeaBag fee-for-service holdouts) supports Medicare and ObamaCare, realizing that the employer-based system has failed to provide adequate coverage for those who need it most. In addition, several new generations of doctors actually believe the Oaths they take. On the other hand, the Right still believes health care is a privilege that only the wealthy deserve. Any group that is more regressive than physicians is truly fossilized, and deserves to die an unlamented political death. The House TeaBag thugs--who, of course, have the best health care plan in the country, paid for by those people to whom they would deny coverage--have voted 41 times to repeal ObamaCare. Actions speak for themselves--these hypocritical, hateful cretins have to go.
