New Sub-genre potentially forming: VineRap For a while now, a good amount rap songs have been made to fill specific niches. Strip Clubs, clubs, dancing, riding, chilling, etc. Since vine can pretty much launch songs to the top of charts, some artists seem to be making music which is more likely to hit it big on the site. These songs usually feature a short, repetitive part while the rest of the song is often more or less filler. Vine is no much different than how the radio sound seemed to come about. Certain rap songs gather much attention causing artists to explode and other artists try to emulate this sound. A couple times, I have only heard short snippets of songs on Vine and am shocked when I dont actually hear another part of the song until weeks or even months later. Its going to be interesting to see what happens when the popularity of vine eventually falls off and how the game will react to it.
