In 1969 I was working at Jewel Food store, stocking shelves and bagging groceries, trying to save enough money for my first keyboard. I selected the Acetone TOP-1 because it was about 2/3 the price of a Farfisa Mini-Compact. Joe Paluzzi let me put $100 down and pay $25/week for $235 total. He just asked my Dad if I was good for it, shook my hand, and I got in my first band. I pumped it through my friends Silvertone guitar amp. combo-organ/AceTone/index.htm FWIW - I was trolling Guitar Center last year and they had one of these in the vintage section - $695.
