In 1985 I was hanging out with a friend who did part time work at 1430 WIRE Indianapolis. WIRE at the time had recently dumped its successful country format (as they were seeing their audience finally shift to the FMs WFMS) for a Middle of the Road format, in an attempt to take on WIBC (who a the time still was playing music) The folks at the station was tossing all kinds of things in to the trash. I wish I was not so naive and green back then, I probably let a lot of good stuff get away. But I did manage to snag onto four tape cartridges with jingles on them. These have not been played in 25-30 years or so. My friend Art Baker was gracious enough to get these dubbed and digitized for me (he must be the only one in Indiana who still has a Cart Machine!) So here you go....a little blast from the past!
