In 1994, I sent a resume in response to an ad for an international business analyst position with the CIA that was published in The Wall Street Journal. The position was in line with the types of positions I was looking for at that time, it was one of hundreds of resumes I sent out during that period of unemployment, I did not place any more emphasis on this resume submission than I did any other submission, and I continued to submit resumes for private sector jobs after my resume submission to the CIA. In September, 1998, to ensure closure of my CIA resume submission, I wrote back to the same address and withdrew my previous resume submission (certifed mail, return receipt received). I never received a response to my resume submission either before or after my withdrawal, I have never spoken with anyone who has identified themselves as being a member of the CIA, and I have no connection with the CIA in ANY regard. As it appears that information regarding my original resume submission was leaked to the general public, I am forced to make this disclosure.
