In 2 Kings 6:15-23 King of Aram came to war with Israel,he mobilized his troops to completely destroy Israel.But God would always reveal all the Aramean plans to Elisha his Prophet and he would inform the King of Israel.In Amos 3:7, the Bible says that Indeed the Sovereign Lord will never do anything until he reveals his plans to his servants the Prophets. God will always go ahead and reveal the unknown to his people through his servants or prophets.His people at times will not know what the enemy is planning or has planned against them,but God is always remember his covenant to his people who have been called by his name,Elisha adviced the King of Israel where to marshall his troops and where not to.He was the highest security advisor to the King of Israel,and the King listened and respected each word from Elisha.The Aramean King was frustrated in all the war plans and strategies he had employed against Israel.He was bitter that all he planned was known by the Israelites,when he inquired about the matter,he was told about Elisha the Prophet of God. The Aramean King decided to change tact and invade Elisha,while in Dothan Elishas servant woke up one day and went outside the house and could not believe hid eyes at the sight of the Aramean troops that had laid Siege.He was terribly afraid and confused but Elisha encouraged him not to be afraid.For those who were on their side were more than those on the enemies side.When the servant of Elishas eyes were opened he saw chariots and horses of fire sorrounding Elisha.Security threats are all over.terrorist groups,nuclear wielding nations,religious fanatics.civil unrest and many others have given you sleepless nights ,countries are trying to re invent and re organize their security and protection strategies but witj lots of deficiencies and wanting results. It is time to seek divine intervention,Elisha was a prophet and a security advisor no wonder enemies would not triumph over Israel.Governments,Nations,States and countries have to return to God,righteousness exalts a nation but sin is a reproach to the people.
