In 2007, I got back into rail photography after having been busy raising kids for the past 15 years..not that I didnt take train photos during that time, but as the kids got older and wanted to do what they wanted to do rather than go track side with Dad all the time, my train watching time was limited. Now they were old enough that if I went off for a few hours on a weekend, it was OK and I took to taking the dogs and camera out for walks near the tracks near home.
