In 2010 my life changed drastically. After having an elective surgery and planning on being off work for 7 weeks I went through the worst things of my life. After I had the surgery I was not healing properly. I was in and out the hospital. I was being fed through a feeding tube. I was so sick. I was ready to leave here. During my 5th surgery in 2 months I was laying on the operating table. Well they thought I couldnt hear but this is what I heard. I heard Dr. T saying that her pulse is mighty faint on my right side. I began to try and yell to let him know I hear you Dr. please dont give up on me. Then, the Dr. on my left side said yes her pulse getting weak over here too. At that time I saw a light and a hand reached down and touched me. It was Jesus and he said call on me child and I will give you rest. I just start screaming Jesus Jesus Jesus. And then I heard the Dr. Say she crashing she crashing bag her. My eyes rolled open and this lady was doing CPR. When I woke up it was 3 months later and I was on life support and learned that I had a heart attack and my lungs also collapsed. I also learned that my family was told twice that I wasnt gonna make it through the night. After finally getting off life support I had to go to therapy to learn how to walk and talk and use my limbs again. Lord God physical therapy was so painful. Well I finally got to go home and I was home for 2 days after being in there then for 5 months total. One day I told my daughter to come help me off the couch and when I stood up I collapsed. By the time I got to the hospital I was blind In both eyes and paralyzed from the chest down. After multiple test and MRI I learned that the lupus was attacking my spine and central nervous system. I have CNS Lupus. I ended up in the hospital for about 3 months receiving countless bags of steroids to get the inflammation off my spine and my sight started coming back in my eyes and I start getting feeling in my legs. Once I was able to take a few steps I was sent to Lakeshore Rehab Hospital. I had to go through physical rehab another 3 months. I was in the hospital and rehab for 6 months that time. Once I was discharged from rehab hospital I spent months taking Therapy at home. I was doing better but I had to have a walker and a power chair to help me get around. Im able to walk now even though I have severe nerve damage in my legs and I take chemotherapy for my lupus but I serve a mighty God and Im trusting him for a complete healing!!
