In 30 mins from now, Savannah will take the mound for the TCA Lady Lions MS softball team for her last home game. I am reflecting over the last year & I know that very few probably remember that she missed last years MS season due to a severe foot injury that almost ended not only any future sports for her but the actual ability to walk. I feel myself being reminded to be thankful for every minute you have to do the things you love. We found out last year that things can be taken away from you in an instant. I am thankful for her full recovery. I am thankful for her softball season this yr. I am thankful for her two wonderful coaches (Tracy Brewer & Robert Craft) who have given their time to my two children this yr to help them both get better at a game they love. I am thankful for all 15 of the hard-working girls who played MS softball this yr. I am thankful for wonderful group of TCA softball parents. And, most of all, I am thankful that all of our girls stayed healthy this yr! To God be the Glory! Good luck today girls!
